The Freaky Mutant Weirdo Variety Show is a non-stop four-hour extravaganza of music, performance, and mashups by multiple offbeat acts, hosted by L’N’L’s legendary geek psychopop combo A Halo Called Fred. For the second year, poet and musician John S. Hall from King Missile (famed for “Detachable Penis”) is the featured guest. Other acts range from surf-prog band Trio of Madness, raccoon furry pop by I’ve Made Too Much Pasta, and belly dancing, freak sideshows, and special vocal and piano performances.

A Halo Called Fred’s Geverend, aka Adam Dickinson, the man behind the show explains, “With this year’s show, we’re trying to elevate it to the next level — instead of focusing on one act at a time doing their own thing, we wanted a show that focused on community, collaboration, and making the best entertainment experience we could for the audience”

Elijah’s Promise operates a soup kitchen, culinary arts school, catering business and café, and connect low-income individuals and families with social and health services. With the support of volunteers, donors and community partners, they serve more than 100,000 meals per year and train previously unskilled workers for careers in the food services industry.
