Lump’N’Loaf Records, in association with A Halo CalledC.O.G.S. Expo, The Roguish Rabbit, and NJ Steampunk Society, is once again excited to present the Freaky Mutant Weirdo Variety Show 2020 (FMWVS), a unique charity event for Elijah’s Promise, Central Jersey’s largest anti-hunger agency. The show takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Roxy & Dukes Roadhouse in Dunellen, NJ.

The Freaky Mutant Weirdo Variety Show, a double-header of nonstop, 4 hour extravaganzas, features a family-friendly show at 2PM, followed by an adults-only show at 7PM, is once again hosted by L’N’L’s legendary geek psychopop combo A Halo Called Fred and features other exciting acts, including L’N’L’s surf-prog band Trio of Madness and much more!

A Halo Called Fred’s Geverend, aka Adam Dickinson, the man behind the show explains, “This will be a huge charity benefit show featuring performers of all walks of life. This is our third Freaky Mutant Weirdo Variety Show, and our biggest ever, with a more family friendly afternoon show, and an adults only evening portion of the show. Acts include Steampunks, Belly Dancers, Sideshow, Burlesque, Aliens, Tarot readers, Story telling, Puppets… you name it!”

Proceeds from Freaky Mutant Weirdo Variety Show will benefit New Brunswick, New Jersey’s Elijah’s Promise. Since 1989, Elijah’s Promise has used food as a tool to alleviate hunger, empower lives and invite justice for the most vulnerable members of the Central New Jersey community. Elijah’s Promise operates a soup kitchen, culinary arts school, catering business and café, and connect low-income individuals and families with social and health services. With the support of volunteers, donors and community partners, they serve more than 100,000 meals per year and train previously unskilled workers for careers in the food services industry.
