Burning Up White’s long-awaited 1998 CD single, “William/Movie,” is finally available for download through Lump’N’Loaf Records.

Recorded and engineered by Alap Momin (David Byrne, Dälek, Jon Spencer Blues Explosionat Sweetwood Studios, Parsippany, NJ, the “William/Movie” single was to be included on the band’s never released full-length album, which will be released by Lump’N’Loaf Records in 2020.

Since 1996, South River, NJ-based Burning Up White have combined their New Wave influences, classic 70’s rock, indie rock and jazz into a sound they call non-standard pop, playing intermittently throughout the NJ/NY area. The band, the original impetus for the formation of Lump’N’Loaf Records, features Mary Ann Wilson (Splinter/TV Babies) on vocals, Scott Wilson (Black Cordova/The Number Theory) on drums, and Damian Gonzalez (Black Cordova/Zigman Bird) on bass guitar.
